Smallville 10.17 "Kent"

Not to leave out the other Smallville leading lady, Tess was gorgeous in that purple dress. And I can't tell you how thrilled I was to have more exploration of the Clark/Tess dynamic, I love to see Tom and Cassidy interact.
Every time John Schneider has shown up on Smallville this season he has stolen the show. It makes me miss the early days of Smallville when the farm was active and Clark had experience to lean on. The entire conversation between Johnathan and Clark was great and the only thing that could have made the end better was if Annette O'Toole's voice had said "Hello?" during the end credit.
The more we get of season ten, the more I wish WB would just scrap continuity and keep Tom Welling as Superman for films too. He has grown into the role so well I can't imagine a better fit. When I think of Superman now I picture Tom. I know he has an interest behind the camera but I hope he continues to do acting work after Smallville.
I really don't like the whole leaving/selling the Kent Farm aspect, but I'm not going to go crazy about it. Just what this universe decides to do. And the Luthorcorp thrashing just follows in line with the destruction of the Talon and Luthor Mansion (and alternate world Kent Farm).
I'm interested to see how Booster turns out next, and apparently I found out that my nephew's friend's father is the actor playing Booster Gold. Small world, huh.
And I might be alone in this but honestly, has Oliver even been needed this season? Felt like he hasn't done anything valuable and the last two episodes showed the show runs fine without him and I didn't miss him at all.
