Chuck 3.14 vs the Honeymooners
The first episode of the S3 "extension" and I thought the Morgan/Casey friendship really shined in the episode. One of the best things I had liked about Casey's civilian time was the increase in his interacting with Morgan at the Buy More. Now that Casey has brought Morgan aboard Team Bartowski this can only grow in fun. I loved that his reading of the travel guide Morgan was able to reveal that those Interpol agents weren't who they said they were.
It's funny. I love Sarah, and I'm fine with Chuck/Sarah, but I will admit if there is a S4 I'll miss all the talented women that they've brought in over the seasons to be love interests for Chuck. Lou the sandwich girl in S1, Jill the ex in S2 & Hannah the geek in S3. That said, I enjoyed the fight scene they did while handcuffed and before that how they both tried to spy on the Basque terrorist without telling the other at first. Hilarious.
Chuck 3.15 vs the Role Models
I liked Morgan's dream sequence of like an 80's spy show with him, Sarah & Chuck. Two things I didn't like about the main part of S3 with Shaw in charge was the lack of fun episodes, sure the action and drama stepped up but the regular joe in a spy situation that was a big part of the first two seasons was missing. I'm hoping with Morgan in the squad we see a return of that aspect, like he did here in Sacrificing himself to get the tiger to chase him into Apartment Awesome.
I really haven't liked Devon & Ellie being off in Africa, I have a feeling that is just where they wanted them to be between seasons and that they would've returned had S4 start right after 3.13, so now they're connecting it to the Ring which is probably a good move. I've been disappointed with the lack of Awesome & Ellie last few episodes.
