White Collar 2.13 "Countermeasures"

Anytime former Star Wars actors pop up nowadays I make sure to tune in, and thankfully White Collar is already one of my favorite shows to watch. The great thing about Billy Dee Williams' character, Ford, is that he was an example of a con man who could not give up the game even when a second chance was possible and an old friend was hurt in the process. The drastic difference between Neal and Ford, probably has a lot to do with Peter's influence but also Neal always seems to have been ruled by his emotions, unlike Ford.

It was interesting to see a look into Neal's landlady, and also more looks at the house Neal lives in. I think this was the first time we saw Neal's closet! Usually we're always in that main room.

The best moment had to be when Neal invited Peter to the dinner to get to know Ford and he says no so Neal then calls Elizabeth who readily agrees. Peter's expressions as the call happens behind him and he realizes its Neal was hilarious.

A break next week and then two episodes left in the season. I didn't see any sign of Neal's mentor in the preview for the next episode so I'm assuming they're saving his return for the finale - maybe as a way to set up next season's main storyline. That would be terrible if it came out he was involved in Kate's death ... If she is dead (yeah I'm still holding out).
