My username is: emeraldstag. Before picking this name all my previous internet personas were either boring (made of initials and date of birth), or involving a sports nickname I had since I was a bit of an athlete. When it came time to create a new livejournal account 3/4 years ago when I was stepping into the fandoms I was in at the time I wanted a name that connected to the fandom while being original (didn't want to name my journal after a character). So at the time being mostly in the Harry Potter fandom I went with stag, thinking of Harry's patronus and it worked for me because it was also an adult male deer. (Although how many times I was originally thought to be female was more than I'd expected, maybe I read too much into the name defining idea. lol). Emerald got added on since Harry's eyes were green and I thought it worked well together. Emeraldstag makes me think of a pub or something. lol.
My journal name/title is: It's alright Ginny. It's over. It's just a memory... This is one of my favorite lines from the Harry Potter series involving one of the first real interactions between my favorite ship of the series, Harry/Ginny. Chamber of Secrets was one of my favorites in the series movie-wise, although the last 3 films have all passed it in my eyes.
My subtitle is: n/a.
My friends page is called: Zoo Crew. This comes from one of my favorite comic books as a child. Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew! Animals that were similar to the regular universe DC heroes. I'm surprised that DC hasn't tried to restart them in a regular series as a kids book with all the success of Tiny Titans and that line of books.
My default userpic: is an icon I made from early season 2 of Smallville. I never appreciated the trio like feel that Clark, Chloe & Pete had and now that it only lasted 1/3 of the show so far, I feel like it's a good time to look back at the lighter times. Tight-knit friendship like that is awesome. I can't wait to make more Smallville icons. :)
