emeraldstag | Legend of the Seeker 2.15 "Creator"

I have mixed feelings about the episode since it was basically a recap episode. I was not expecting to see so many clips from their previous adventures but I did enjoy seeing moments I had forgotten had happened this season. Fifteen episodes is a hefty amount and a lot has happened. I even smiled when they showed Richard saving Kahlan from the very first episode. I think I miss the shorter hair/cleaner cut look he used to have.

I also enjoyed Kahlan switching from her dark leather to white flowing when it came to defending Richard against the "Creator". I doubt that was coincidental. I think what saved my from completely dismissing the ridiculous plot of the episode was that they left the identity of the girl a mystery of whether she was the "Creator" or not. That sort of ambiguity is a classic direction to take and helps establish there is a lot that even they don't know about.

Also please no more Sisters of the Light/Dark. I thought we had finished with them in the last episode and bam, they come right back up in this one.
